National Girls & Women in Sports Day Celebration
5:30-6:45 p.m.
Bronco Athletics Hall of Fame, Southwest Corner outside Bronco Stadium
Free parking in the general lot west of Bronco Stadium

     Open to girls up to age 14

Join Boise State University in celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day, featuring a fun evening of activities and resources to help girls B Active!

• Work out with female Boise State student athletes
• Learn about the benefits of healthy choices
• Be empowered to value yourself
• Reach for a college education
• Have fun!

Participants are invited to attend the Boise State women’s basketball game immediately following the event, where they will be recognized during the game.

FREE Student Leadership Training Program

Build your expertise by learning the nuts and bolts of running a student government campaign!

This training will demystify the campaign process and teach you how to develop and communicate an effective message, how to reach out to students, and how to win a campus election!
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn key leadership skills and take the first step towards inspiring your peers.

Please register at the Women’s Center. Please note this program has a 50 person limit with registration closing on February 17.

Elect Her is free and open to all students currently enrolled at Boise State University.

DUE FEBRUARY 1St: LGTBA Leadership Conference- Power of One

 The Women's Center is offering a "travel scholarship" to 6-8 Boise State students who would like to attend NASPA’s Power of One LGBTA Leadership conference in Corvallis April 5-7.

This conference is powerful leadership and growth opportunity for students. For more information about the conference please visit: http://nwlgbtleadership.wsu.edu/Default.asp.

Student and Alumni Art Competition

Submission due Monday, January 30, by 4:00 p.m.

Build your portfolio by having your work shown in a permanent collection! The Women’s Center is seeking submissions for two site-specific permanent art installations in the Women’s Center Reception Area and the LGBTQIA Lounge. Each piece will be commissioned for $500. This juried competition is open to Boise State students and alumni. All submissions are due to the Women’s Center by 4:00 p.m., Monday, January 30.
