Petya Stoyanova
Petya Stoyanova
Programming Graduate Assistant

Although originally from Bulgaria, it was Hurricane Katrina that brought Petya to Boise where she is starting an MBA program. Her greatest passion is exploring different cultures. Her mother's journey has inspired her to work at the Women's Center. When her mother decided to get a degree in chemistry four years ago, her friends thought she had lost her mind. She attended classes with some of Petya's high-school friends, which is not typically considered normal in a post communist country. Petya's mother graduated this summer and now runs a laboratory in the biggest oil refinery in Bulgaria. Petya wants to encourage women not to be afraid to follow their dreams. It is never too late.
