Adriane Bang, Interim Director/VARCIn addition to her role as the Violence Awareness and Response Coordinator, Adriane has taken on the role of Interim Director for the Women's Center while a search for a permanent director is taking place. Adriane attended Boise State for six years; she graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Social Work Degree and in 2007 with a Master of Social Work Degree. She's excited to begin exploring a non-student role at the University! Adriane previously served as a Legislative Advocate and a Sexual Assault and Response Advocate. She has a passion for social justice and enjoys being involved in the community and making positive change. She also enjoys journaling, baking, crafting, and reading autobiographical books and feminist anthologies. |

Simon Clifford, Office AssistantSimon is a history major going into his second year at Boise State. He is very excited to be involved with the Women's Center. In his free time Simon is a reader, a writer, and an amateur Go player. He hopes to spend some time studying and traveling in China. |

Christine Fuller, Program AssistantChristine is a rainbow luvin, hot springs soakin feminist. She is a native to Boise, Idaho and is majoring in Social Science with an emphasis in Gender Studies and Cultural Anthropology. She is delighted to be working with the fabulous folks at the Women's Center. As a believer in endless possibilities she is motivated to participate in positive social change, to raise awareness and change behavior through education, advocacy and activism. |

Jamie Lange, Social Services CoordinatorJamie Lange returned to Boise State in 2004 after taking some time off to really live: traveling, meeting strangers she now calls friends, and figuring out what issues in life take supreme precedent. She is a senior who will finish with a degree in English with a Writing Emphasis and a degree in Philosophy. Jamie is very passionate in her studies and is not sure there will ever come a day when she is not somehow working in relation to University campuses in some capacity, with the ultimate goal of receiving her Ph.D. in Feminist Philosophy. In the interim, she is so happy to be working at the Women's Center while also serving as a role model to young women as a High School Sophomore Girls basketball coach at Capital High School, raising her three-year-old little boy, Cosmo, with her husband Chris, as well as serving as the editor for this year's Women Making History publication. |

Janet Summers, Administrative Assistant IIJanet comes to the Women's Center from the BSU College of Applied Technology. Prior to that, she worked 15 years conducting employee training for the Idaho Division of Human Resources, BSU, and the Idaho Transportation Department. She has found herself to be happiest when she is surrounded by people who share their passion for the work they do with others. She found many such wonderful individuals in the College of Applied Technology and was drawn to work at the Women's Center for the same reason. Janet has a BA in Theatre, Directing and directed the first production of The Vagina Monologues at BSU, an experience that continues to be one of the most fulfilling theater experiences she has had. She looks for the light in everyone and is looking forward to new discoveries and playing each day. |
